r00tsecurity is looking for members for it's staff team. Staff are privileged members who volunteers to help run the community. They take on a variety of jobs from moderating content on the forums, organizing events, and representing r00tsecurity to the outside world. 

Moderators (0/5)

Qualities:
- Expected to be knowledgeable
- Kind and respectful
- Can be fair in judgement
- Can follow the rules and enforce the rules

Duties: 
Essentially the Moderators are the "police" of the forums. They ensure that users are abiding by the terms and conditions of the site. If not moderators can warn users via the warning system or remove posts that users make. Morderators are also expected to promote good conversation and offer their advise on topics.

Public Relations (0/1)

Qualities:
- Outgoing
- Excellent Writing Skills
- Imaginative 

Duties:
The staff member handling Public Relations respects r00tsecurity to the outside. Public Relations will be posting twitter and Facebook statuses. Along with sending out emails.

Community Events (0/1)

Qualities

- Imaginative
- Excellent writing skills
- Leadership

Duties: 
Community Events are strongly encouraged in r00tsecurity. Community Events staff will create and run new events along with take in suggestions. When a member of the community wishes to create a community event, the community event staff will help that member with creating their event and setting guidelines. 

News Team (0/2)

- Intuitive
- Enjoy Research

Duties: 
The News Team will be responsible for finding interesting news of what is going on in the tech industry. They will be researching news articles and giving their own approach and commentary to the situation. Essentially, they will be a news source for r00t members.

IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Moderators (0/3)

Qualities:
- Expected to be knowledgeable
- Kind and respectful
- Can be fair in judgement
- Can follow the rules and enforce the rules

Duties: 
Their job is simply to ensure rules are being followed on the IRC server.
